Patia with Reverse Clinker in Talsari, West Bengal.

The Patia Boats in Talasari follow the reverse clinker tradition which involves the tongue-in-groove joining in the reverse clinker section. The head of the nail is always placed outside to keep the joint in position. One person hammers the nails of the inboard while another person works out the board, bending the nail into the wood.
