Building the race canoe boat - Ap. Car Nicobar, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

The Mashol Ap is a type of canoe boat built by the people of Chowra island, one amongst the Nicobar group of islands. The mashol Ap is the longest of the canoes, built for the purpuse of a team race. Different teams sail on the mashol and compete together. Seen here is the building process of the mashol Ap by the racing team.
